Comfort or challenge?

How much do you know about your comfort zone? It's this magical area which surrounds you, keeps you safe, comfortable, happy and confident. When we are doing what feels comfortable, life (or work) seems easy, you don't have to think about it too much.

Just quickly, I'd like you to try this simple little exercise - humour me..  Pick up a pen and a bit of paper, and sign your name. Now switch hands and do the same.

For most people, the second attempt felt more awkward, uncomfortable and probably lo…

I’m not perfect

I'm not perfect. No one is. No matter how things look on social media🤳 no one lives a glossy life 100% of the time.

I have battles with my own mind; I make excuses and try to call them reasons in order to justify why I'm not doing something. I've learned to notice this and tackle it (mostly) before it takes hold and to understand what's really behind it. When I say I haven't got time...is it because its not a big enough priority for me right now or is it genuinely that I have used up all my avail…

3 things I'm doing right now that you can do ANYTIME!

🌟3 things I'm doing right now🌟 (in between resting, chilling, and still eating leftovers) Reflecting on my previous years achievements, expressing gratitude and planning the forthcoming year...read on...

1. Reflecting on the years achievements It's really easy to skip on through life either completely in the moment or living for the next thing. Each year I spend some time, (about 15-30 minutes spread out over a few hours or days), to reflect on what my achievements have been. Highlights for me th…

That last push

If you're struggling to find the energy for that last push whether it’s on a Friday, or any day of the week, try one or more of these:

💭Change perspective - sit somewhere different, face a different way or even better stand up if that's possible 📻Get some tunes on - fire up your brain with some music, I love the big classical stuff or anything with a good beat 🏞️Head out into nature - get some fresh air, even if its standing on your doorstep! 💟Breathe - take some lovely slow deep breaths, relax y…

5 ways to handle drains with ease

I'm not talking about the plumbing in your home, this is a great way of noticing whether you, or people around you give you that warm, fuzzy feeling, or suck the life from your soul.

You'll know you're experiencing a drain, if you dread picking up the phone to that person because  they always talk about themselves in conversations, without being that interested in what you have to say, they share problems without considering solutions or ways forward, they stay in negativity and cloud you with it…

Doing the RIGHT Stuff for the RIGHT REASON

If you're anything like me, every week you'll have something that triggers you to suddenly catch yourself and think "whaaaat? Where's the week gone? It can't be this time next week already?!" I noticed this a lot when I first stepped into part time work and had a 'Business Development Wednesday'.

It was actually quite an eye-opener to notice what had or hadn't happened between Wednesday's and how a week can disappear in a flash. Life is busy at the best of times right?! You're juggling work, pl…

From Resistance to Persistence

We all experience resistance from time to time, whether in the work environment, in your business or at home.

Resistance is natural, its the brains way of saying "woah there, something feels different, time for me to step in and protect you!" Of course the brain is right to do that, if something feels risky or unsafe, its important to notice and acknowledge the message before forging on regardless!

There are soooo many reasons why people express resistance, and sometimes its overt, sometimes cover…

Rules I live by

Rules I live by

When you sign up to work with me, you're not only investing in a financial sense, I ask you to go all in. This means being truly honest about where you are, what's going on and where you want to be. Even if those things don't seem possible (believe me, they are).

How I show up for you is super important too. I'm just as invested in you and you journey as you are - sometimes more when I'm standing by your side at those wobbly moments.

These are just 5 of the ways I do that:

1. Be me,…

The Power of Small

You've heard me talking about the power of small steps taken consistently to create big impact? These small steps can create positive and less desirable outcomes...Let me explain.

Bob wants to change his lifestyle, so he decides to start walking the one mile round trip to work (burning 300 calories a day)

Barbara is having a hard time at work and finds herself pouring a glass or two of wine when she gets home. (let's say that's 300 calories a day).

At the end of week 1: Bob has burned an extra 150…
